Cheap Holidays to Greece

Cheap holidays to Greece offer sun, sea, culture and history.  The Greek coastline provides a huge variety offering everything from sheltered bays, stretches of fine golden sand, pebbly beaches, or coastal caves with steep rocks and black volcanic soil.  In addition Greece also has its islands and their many beaches and history as well.

Athens holidays are excellent choice for those interested in history, both modern and ancient. Greece’s capital of course, is widely recognised to be the birthplace of civilization. The Acropolis is among Europe’s top most archaeological sites. The list of historic monuments, museums and other attractions is endless, not just in Athens, but all over Greece's mainland and islands. The Acropolis is one of the most recognizable monuments in the world and dates back to the golden age for Athens, some 1500 years ago.

The Greek Isles are a favourite holiday spot for thousands of tourists every year.  The islands each have their own personality and offer something unique to it's visitors.  However, they all have something in common - stunning beaches perfect for a little R & R.  It's not just all about the beach though.  Activities range from hiking, mountain biking and canyoning to kayaking, jet-skiing and sailing.  Wildlife in Greece is pretty special too and often not something people realise when they book their holiday in Greece. There are marine wildlife parks which protected Mediterranean monk seal and the Mediterranean green loggerhead turtle, certainly not something you see every day.
By night it all comes down to preference.  Some love the themed bars, the Irish pubs and the dance clubs, others love a night in a Greek taverna chilling to some music.  Whatever you fancy, you will not be disappointed.
